    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course to boost your reading comprehension which you will need greatly in college.

    Course highlights:

There were challenging passages and the essay prompts are always relevant to recent global problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in AP Lang, you will have to think and write quickly. The time may seem plenty but the exam consists of three essays one of them you have to complete within 35 minutes.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The only reason I would recommend the course is for college credit. Other than that, I would not recommend it. This course does not teach good writing. It has a formula for a thesis statement of an analytical essay. That, in itself, would hinder good writer by restricting their creative abilities. Now, I am not saying I am a good writer. But, the thesis statement formula and five-paragraph essay scheme is just not good writing.

    Course highlights:

Even though I didn't really like the course, it did teach me a bit about rhetorical devices and improved my skill on analyzing writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't overthink things. Just understand what you're reading and you'll be able to do just fine.
