    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it teaches you the background history of our country and it helps you out with other courses you are studying in the meantime in high school.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the Bessemer process, world war 1 and 2. Not to mention we were able to cover a huge part about the freedom movement for African Americans and industrialism movement

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that students taking this course will need to read the textbook every week and make sure you take well detailed notes on the lectures.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is pretty boring. The only way you could get enjoyment out of this class is if you like history. More specifically, American History. The teacher, although nice, does not do a great job at making the class interesting. He does not teach the lesson plan through fun activities but mostly through document based questions and multiple choice tests.

    Course highlights:

Though the class is boring, you can learn a lot. The class covers topics in American History ranging from the Civil War to Modern Times, and everything in between. I learned a lot about early 20th century politics, including yellow journalism. I learned more about American wars such as the Vietnam and Korean wars. Finally, I learned plenty about the United States' expansion west of the thirteen colonies and about American Indians and how we treated them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, all you really have to do is take notes and pay attention in class. Also, learn how to use PowerPoint if you haven't. Mr. King likes his students to use PowerPoint a lot for major projects.
