    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She was just a really mean instructor who had her picks and chooses on who she would be nice to. There is a language barrier because she has a very thick accent. When reaching out to her for help, I was told that my issues weren't her problem.

    Course highlights:

I love math so the different formulas we had to use in order to find answers made me feel like I was actually learning something.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, take notes, get help when it is available.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a review of the online course. This course is a great basic intro to chemistry. It was challenging, but not too hard, and the quizzes are open book, which is nice, but means they're a little more difficult than they would be otherwise. Overall, I enjoyed this course.

    Course highlights:

This was one of the first college courses I took, so I learned a lot about time management during this course! I especially enjoyed the chapter on nuclear chemistry, since that is a particular interest of mine, but I wish it could have gone a little more in-depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be fooled into to thinking you don't need to study because quizzes are open book. Make sure you at least study the day before; don't ever study the day of. Also, watch out for the deadlines. There is no comprehensive calendar of all the assignment deadlines, and since students are responsible for keeping up with their own schedules, it is super easy to miss a deadline by accident.
