Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class constantly engages the students with the textbook. There are many educational projects that go hand-in-hand with each section that benefit the student. Mrs. Limoges is a wonderful teacher. She actively keeps the students engaged with the course material. She sets reasonable deadlines for projects and discussion threads.

    Course highlights:

So far, I have learned a great deal of information as well as been active in activities. Mrs. Limoges does station rotations. This is a great teaching tool to get hands-on with the chapter. For instance, during the biopsychology section, there was a station dedicated to modeling a brain from Play-Doh.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class and receive a 3 or above on the final AP test, one has to really be engaged with the material. I really encourage to do well on the daily quizzes and study the vocabulary. In doing so, one will achieve a high score on the AP test.

    This class was tough.

I would recommend you take this course because Limoges is an amazing teacher and finds so many ways to work in fun projects that pertain to what you are studying.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better insight to people taking this course. Finding out why people do the things the do really helps open your eyes and see the world differently.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. Read the book, take notes. Summarize the chapters after reading to see what you remember.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! I think the content is great and can be applied to all areas of your life for the rest of your life. Besides this, it's also just super fun and a very interesting topic to study.

    Course highlights:

You cover all of the topics of psychology, not just mental disorders. You'll learn how the brain physically thinks, about all the neurotransmitters, about testing IQs, about development of babies, about how the brain makes different parts of your body move. I personally loved the unit over perception and sensation, which talks about how your brain allows you to see, hear, taste, smell, and touch.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you do all the assignments and projects. The class isn't hard if you do everything that you're told. While you do get a lot of homework, all of it is pretty easy, it just takes a while to do.
