Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I love writing and that is the main component of this class. We have so many amazing projects that teach us so much. It has helped me apply my own qualities to different books and understand different types of literature better.

    Course highlights:

We do four papers in English 101. We have completed our first paper, which was a paper analyzing our identity and relating different books and plays to a certain aspect for our identity. We are beginning a paper analyzing dual identities of a comic book hero of our choice. We have not done any other papers yet but the ones we have done are really interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not like to write, do not take this course. Reading books that are not in the same type of English that you are used to speaking and writing. Make sure you are prepared to really focus on comprehending the books.
