    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course definitely helped prepare me for senior year, and I am positive it will help in college. Mr. Teel presents the material in a fun and exciting way, and he chooses to teach in a way where we can apply the lessons in the real world. He grades hard, but it is so worth it in the end.

    Course highlights:

I liked how we built on everything we learned. We started out with rhetorical analysis, and we still used those techniques at the end of the year when we analyzed films and television shows. Another highlight was the film essay where we had to write an essay over a film from the specific year we were assigned.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You really have to manage your time wisely. He gives you plenty of time in class to work on stuff, but how you spend that time is totally up to you. Also, read the annotations he gives you!! I guarantee you will do better and better on each essay.
