Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would certainly recommend this course, it has much information to be shared about many different aspects about Biology. Everything from ecology to the minute details of cellular respiration can be found here.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the activities and the labs. It was here that I learned how to pipet and how to properly identify all the stages of meiosis and mitosis. This was done through a series of class-wide activities that kept things interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study, and always do the homework, it is beneficial on the tests and in the classroom. Every single packet and worksheet counts for something that will come up later.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great course: understandable material and insightful lab activities.

    Course highlights:

Learning something new in this class and understanding it really boosts my self-confidence.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

New students should definitely put in the time and effort into learning the material for this course. It may not seem like much, but it can definitely turn a 180 in difficulty.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great in that it prepares students for upper-level biological courses in college. I would definitely recommend taking the AP test at the end of the year only if you think that you are ready. For students who do not feel comfortable testing, the class itself is a ton of fun, and you learn a lot!

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned everything that was taught in classes like freshmen biology, but in much greater detail and length. We didn't just learned 'how' things worked, we learned 'why' things work. I also learned how to properly write a college research thesis.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study guides are no joke. Take notes rigorously and always highlight key terms or phrases. Pay close attention to the first test you receive. Every test afterward will cover some of the material from the first test, and then whatever new information was covered in the next chapter. By the last test, you will be tested on all the information from the previous semester.
