    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I fully reccomend this course, it not only prepared me for the SAT but for college applications too. The teacher can be a bit difficult but you can tell she truly cares and you knowbthat if you do well in that class you will go very far because writing essays doesn't end in highschool.

    Course highlights:

The thing about AP Lang is that it basically tells you how to convince someone of anything. You don't need to be right to get a 6 or higher on an essay. You just need to be convincing and I learned that having a sort of confidence when writing helps with your confidence when not writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please do take it. It is such a helpful course that really prepares you for the real world because writing essays, having confidence, the art of persuasion and debating doesn't end in high school. No matter what the profession is.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is not only rigorous and beneficial, but it also enables those who take it an insight on what colleges expect from students when it comes to writing and annotating texts. This course is excellent for those who enjoy reading passages, dissecting them for better understanding, then putting that understanding in writing. AP Language is very different from what I've ever taken before, and it was a little challenging for me, for I wasn't totally prepared for the course to begin with. Though I do believe it is totally worth it, and I recommend it to those who are up for something different in the English department. As long as you stay commited with the workload and can easily understand the content, you'll be set!

    Course highlights:

I can easily tell the difference between different essay structures, and now I'm able to form a well-constructed essay, as I learned about and practiced with the college scores for them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS DO YOUR WORK! It's very easy to set a course's work off to the side and do it later.. This is a course you do NOT want to do that with! This course is only for you if you are always on your A-game! This course is pretty challenging, after all.
