Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Ryer is a very good professor and she finds a way for you to be interested in what is going on.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was that, we were able to compare what we read to real word world issues that has been occurring in the past few months.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You should be very interactive in class, and it is always good to have a class discussion and be open to what you think about certain things.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor gives you assignments on real world topics and makes you look at them with a broader view. She gives you the tools to succeed and all you have to do is use them to build your argument.

    Course highlights:

She gave the class an assignment on cell phone usage that affects real-time communication between people. She seemed to have a great impact on the class with this one, as we are a generation of technology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Write down everything Mrs. Rogers says. Always agree with her, even if you feel she isn't correct. Use what she says in your essays, because she is VERY opinionated. Respond and react to her, make her believe this class has an impact on you and get your work done. If you aren't very passionate about writing or you don't know very much, ALWAYS read the book and then read it three more times.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking Ellington only because if you are a well writer she will favor you, but if you struggle with writing you should find another professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned that everything is an argument and even if you have strong opinion about something you should always respect the opposite opinion.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not Procrastinate because in the long run your work will catch up to you.
