    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In addition to history being my least favorite subject, the way that this professor lectured seemed torturous. She always teaches the same way, and seems to just go on and on and on. Powerpoints are very confusing.

    Course highlights:

In the course I learned from the primary sources that we read, because they made the things that we were supposed to be learning about relatable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you like history, then go for it. If not, try to find a course online.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this course online and it is an easy A if you are good with time management.

    Course highlights:

I really loved being able to work on this class on my own time. I learned about recent US History which ties into many of my other classes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time, plan a schedule to do the reading and practice quizzes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this course online. I would highly recommend it. Every week to two weeks you have an online test. The tests are the online grades. You can take the textbook quizzes that the professor puts on the syllabus online. It's basically the same exact questions, great for practice.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the industrial age in the US and how the feminist movement/women's rights tied into that and leading up to the stage we are at now.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, or at the very least copy down the vocabulary definitions to use for your tests. Make sure to take the practice quizzes; they give you the correct answers at the end so you can review what you need to study for. I would set aside a few hours a week to study, but it is by no means a demanding class!
