Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really like the literature covered and we get great practice with essays to prepare students for the AP test. I just wish there was more direction in what we are to learn from what we are reading, as it is not always obvious or students misinterpret things.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is reading and watching Hamlet and recognizing theme and plot structure, as well as character understanding by reading The Poisonwood Bible. You will also have to prove your knowledge through a MWDS worksheet on an individually chosen book.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pat attention to when assignments are due and due not fall behind schedule.

    Course highlights:

Dia de los muertos or Day of the Dead was one of my favorite topics we learned about Spanish culture. How its their version of our Halloween and has more meaning behind their holiday.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and not fall behind the rest of the class.
