Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dual-Credit English is a college-level course that essentially forces you to write essays that count towards your college grade. While this may sound stressful, it is very helpful as it prepares you for the expectations of college professors in a high school setting. In addition to writing essays, you typically get to write about what you want, within reason. Very informative and fun class!

    Course highlights:

Every day can be seen as a highlight. Mr. Cornett is a wonderful man, who deeply cares about his students and what he is teaching. He makes every class somewhat interesting and teaches almost like he's a stand-up comedian, though knows when to get serious. He's not afraid to make himself look silly for the sake of a lesson. You learn so much about how to properly write an essay that past teachers may not have told you. Even if you fail, you are still able to learn and succeed from your mistakes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask Cornett for help/advice. He will grade your paper before the due date and tell you what should be fixed. When he says for you to do something on your paper, he's not saying it for the sake of saying it, he's saying it because you'll get points off. The difference is that you can fix it in his class, but college will cause irreversible effects. Make sure to always do your work on time.
