    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Psychology is a great course to be taken by all. Clearly people that want to become a therapist or counselor of sorts should take this class, but this class also helps you develop better study habits and understand more about how your brain works through learning and experience. Taking this class is kind of like secret hacks to life. You get to learn more about how your own brain works and how to improve things such as studying, sports, and even social skills.

    Course highlights:

In taking this course I learned about how different parts of our brain work together to create the world we perceive. I learned about how the brain works and which hormones are released when. The most enjoyable part of this course, for me, was learning about how most people react the same in stressful, enjoyable, or even boring situations. I learned about what makes us human and how we all have primal parts deep inside of us that will control how we react to certain situations, and its the same for everyone.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this class you need to have great organizational skills and time management skills. It is best to keep related material together so when you study for the final you can study with chunks of information. This also makes it much easier to find certain materials if you need to look back on them. This course also requires a lot of studying to do. If you are procrastinate studying you will not do well in the course. You need to study hard and efficiently.
