    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is just so beneficial. This course is helpful for all science majors. The professor only wants you to succeed and he teaches in a way that all students can understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to better study for all my exams and finally found out how I can learn information in a way that suits me. I also learned how to do a much better lab write-up.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This professor talks pretty fast so record him if you need to and always try to go to his office hours. If his office hours don't work, you could try to go to his SI sessions.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Sylvestor's class requires you to do double the work you are asked to do. Even though you know the material, you have to take that and learn how to apply it to real life situations. This professor can be really hard for someone who is trying to do well in the class by memorizing the material as opposed to taking the information that is being taught and learning how to apply it. All in all, he does prepare you for the harder upper level classes that require you to not only memorize the material but to apply them.

    Course highlights:

This course really makes one focus on how the information that is being taught can be applied to real life situations. This helps students to retain the information more effectively as opposed to just memorizing it for the test and then forgetting it later on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get into study groups and learn the material. Try explaining what you know to another colleague so that mistakes can be caught and corrected.
