Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is actually a really good Chemistry professor. He is easy to understand and breaks down information. He makes sure that his students understand the topics being discussed. You can tell he has a passion for chemistry.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry is one of the sciences I actually enjoy. This class furthered my understanding in chem topics that I understood in high school and the ones I did not understand in high school. Chemistry is not an easy class but as long as you have a good professor, you will be fine.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! You can not grasp chemistry unless you actually go to class and understand what the professor is teaching. Chemistry can be hard to get but Lecroix offers help and is one of the best professors you can get. STUDY out of class. Dedicate time for this class if you want to pass.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is great for introducing the basics of Chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be self disciplined and that I had to dedicate hours reviewing my material. This is not a course where you can look at the material once and do fine on an exam or quiz; it requires constant reviewing.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course seriously! Do not half-ass the work because this is just the basics. You have to understand this material if you plan to do well in future Chemistry courses. Creating flashcards helped me personally to pass this class because it forced me to write and read the material that would be on the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr Thota was a great instructor for Chemistry I class, she is through, friendly and helpful. You learn a lot in her class.

    Course highlights:

I learned the stoichiometry very well in her class in which it helped me for upper-level chemistry and biology courses that I took later on as well as my research experience. I learned this so well that I taught in in my SI sessions for 2 semesters.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes and listen carefully to her lecture. Then go over her lectures and assigned homework at home so you can earn A in this class.
