This class was tough.
It is a rigorous class, but definitely doable. You need to put in a lot of time practicing problems.
I learned with a summer class, great organizational, and planning skills are needed to succeed in this class. Read the textbook, go to class lectures, go to professor office hours, and do not hesitate to ask questions. This course, although challenging, was very interesting!

Advice for students:
Be ready to put in the work it deserves. It is a demanding course, and taking it over the summer might seem intense, but on the bright side it could occupy all of your focus if it's the only course you're taking. As far as study tips, go ahead and memorize polyatomic ions, solubility rules, strong acids and bases, and the oxidation rules (this will save you a lot of time). Familiarize yourself with the metric system.
