Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Vasquez is a very down to earth professor who will not only teach organic chemistry in a way that is understandable and able to follow, but he also has a way of making his classroom feel more entertaining to learn in, meaning that it is much easier than I expected to stay focused for an hour and a half on the lecture, even though it is organic chemistry.

    Course highlights:

I learned how real the concept of organic chemistry was to my everyday life. Not just with what I eat and reactions that happen in my kitchen, but how materials like pvc piping is made and how to engineer a molecule to become something that is needed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To not get stressed too fast. I feel like the stress of taking an exam and the anxiety that and exam delivers is really what causes students to fail so often, and not so much because the material is necessarily difficult, but because students convinced themselves beforehand that they cannot succeed on the exam, which most often leads to students failing the exam.
