    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy professor, she gives alot of extra credit

    Course highlights:

I learned alot about how chemistry really works. Its literally everywhere and lab is fun and easy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard because the material is not easy. This course is harder than the first one and there is not any math involved. There are two parts: the first part of this class is Organic Chemistry and that is when you learn the different structures, this part wasnt really that hard. However, Biochemistry was kind of difficult for me because there was so much to learn and we basically had to learn the whole last chapter by ourselves because she never had time. Some people to think Biochemistry is easier but you will find one of these easy. If you took Biology some of it may be a little easy, such as the DNA-RNA wasnt bad but Metabolism was very hard. Lab is part of your overall grade so if you do good in lab and do all of her extra credit you will at least get a B. Remember she is always there to help so if you are confused go to her or your S.I. leader.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Koen was great in lab - hardworking and patient. He always made himself available if students had questions. He had a deep understanding of the material and was able to explain it clearly. He had the students' best interest at heart.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about organic chemistry and actually thought it was interesting. Professor Koen makes it easy to understand the material even if you are not a 'science' person.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every lab. Ask questions if you don't understand and take advantage of the instructor's office hours. Attend any extra final prep sessions organized by the instructor. Study every week.
