Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I am slighlty bias because I am interested in becoming a labor & delivery nurse, so I am enjoying this course quite a bit. Overall, though, the teacher is great--she is enthusiastic, knowledgable, and, most importantly, a qualified teacher. The content, while challenging, is both interesting and managable.
Within the nursing program, the summer course is taken alone. This is an advantage because you are able to focus soley on this class. The clinicals that accompany this course are very fulfilling as well. While it is a summer course, it still allows for free time to enjoy your summer!

Advice for students:
Come to class and focus on what is mentioned in class and on the powerpoint slides. Do not worry about reading the book in too much detail. Use it as a supplemental aid to clarify any confusing points. It is also important to note that many of the test focus on the responsibility of the nurse, instead of just facts. Focus on the nursing process, such as assessments and interventions, and you will do well!
