    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend it because you learn so much detail of every functional body system. However, rene is very particular and makes the class harder than what it should be.

    Course highlights:

the highlight of this course was the nervous system. The nervous system is the most interesting topic. I wish we were able to spend more time on it. The system is so interesting how a stimulus is sent from a receptor, then travels up one of the body's sensory neurons. from there, the body will either use the PNS or the CNS to relay the message back down to the autonomic nervous system or motor neurons. What is also more fascinating is the fact that the body has so many neurotransmitters. it is not the channel that decides whether if there will be an AP fired, but rather the receptor is binds to. I thought that was interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

study! do not panic. However, if you want to make an A. You must see rene in the bio tutorial center whenever he is in there as well as going into his office hours to understand your mistakes.
