    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class opened my eyes and raised my consciousness about my history and about my people. This class allowed me to understand more about prominent figures, watch them give speeches, read their lectures, and listen to their passion. I have learned nothing but the best from Dr. Lisa Shannon. Her classes were strictly lecture. The tests were based of the lectures and they were the easiest tests ever. if I could, I would retake her class just to learn more about activism, community uplift, the purpose of our community, Africa, and the prominent figures of our history. This is what we need today and everyone should take this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was just coming to her class. We laughed, we joked, we had fun, and we did community service together. However, my favorite part of the class was her lectures. I liked how she was knowledgeable about what she spoke. She knew what to say and how to make you understand it. She took the time out to get to know each of our names and I personally think that is the best way to show that she cared about her students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, all you have to do is read. That was our homework. If you read, you past the test and will be able to participate in the lectures and discussions. If you don't read then good luck passing the class.
