    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely beneficial in learning general chemistry at a good, fast pace. You dive deep into the material, and with Dr. Kennedy as a professor, you take a look at why everything happens. It's great and extremely fun to learn the reasoning behind what occurs in chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course, in my opinion, was learning about the physical properties of elements. We dove way deeper than the properties of melting and boiling; it was extremely fun, and the lab that goes along with the course helps reinforce what you learned!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course truly does require a lot of reviewing prior to class and practicing after class. you have to immerse yourself into the material. Sometimes it is hard, but it will pay off!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For those of you who love chemistry, this is the perfect course to start with. Dr. Kerr empowers all of her students, which in turn reassures them that they can pass.

    Course highlights:

I've learned that time management is crucial. College in general teaches you that, however, Chemistry is a course that requires a lot of repetition.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Like I've said before, repetition is key. Study groups are a great asset to have for this course too. It helps to hear it from your friends and even yourself, rather than just the professor.
