Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend Greenwood High School to anyone because the teachers are magnificent and the school overall is superior.

    Course highlights:

I learned that even though a teacher says an essay has to be 1-2 pages, my teacher taught me that it should be as long as it needs to be as long as it gets the point across.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention in class and study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking Junior English, or 11th grade English, because not only is it required but it is the perfect balance between literacy studies and grammar rules.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course were the text we got to read throughout the year. I read what is now one of my favorite books, UNBROKEN by Laura Hillenbrand. The book was a required reading for the class, but within days of reading I forgot all about the requirement and dove into the book as if it was for pleasure.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

"Don't judge a book by it's cover". It's the typical, English teacher advice, but it's true. Most of the books you'll pick up in high school will look plain, boring and uninteresting. But you must remember that the cover is merely the authors interpretation of their story. You have a mind of your own, a perception that can take you to places the author might not have even thought about.
