    Course Overview:

    This course focuses on using reading and writing to discuss and learn about world issues, including gender inequality, education, and greed. For each unit, there is a class text assigned, multiple class discussions, and a critical writing assignment to synthesize the content learned.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course was being able to use the information learned to form opinions backed by solid evidence. I learned that a good argument must be expressed with a good foundation in order to be effective.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be sure to keep up with the reading schedule to make sure you are prepared for the in class discussions regarding the text.

    Course Overview:

    It's a great head start to what you will receive in college and it will help further your knowledge in English.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights for this course to me was learning how to write an essay correctly and being able to expand in not only this aspect but in others as well.Plus, you will be to expand your writing and vocabulary.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    This course is difficult, but it will prove to be more helpful in the future. Make sure to keep a clear head and to keep up with your work. Also, try asking the teacher for help if you don't understand it'll help cultivate your vocabulary and to be ahead of the game.
