    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great intro into AP classes and helps demonstrate how well you have to manage your time and work. It opens your eyes to see different views around the world and makes you see things at different angles, while bringing in a historical perspective.

    Course highlights:

Not only do a gain a great sense of what AP classes are like, what you learn in this class opens your mind up to experiencing different cultures and religions. For a freshman, this class was challenging, as we rarely experience classes this hard before high school, but if you are a hard worker, it is worth it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared! Do your notes ahead of time and write down all the vocabulary on index cards so you can study, and study them once a night for that unit for how ever long you are on it, then go back over them every once in a while to make sure you still know them. Stay organized and listen in class, retaining the information relies on how well your teacher does.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a tough course to take that requires a lot of studying. However, this course gears you with knowledge and insights that allow you to better understand the news and what's happening around the world.

    Course highlights:

I learned the distribution of population and how it reflects the country's development that in turn can give an insight of a country's gender equality, literacy rate, GDP and etc. I learned how natural resources, market, and capital can affect the location of a business, be it farming, factories, or services.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You should take good notes and study them well. The exam in May and college credit is how this course will pay off in the short term (if you pass) yet the information you learn will be beneficial for you in the long term (if you actually manage to remember them).
