    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend World History with Coach Holmes because he makes the class interesting and fun. I learned so much in this class and enjoyed myself while doing it as well.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was when we had a paper ball war prior to learning about World War One. It was fun to interact and make a mess before taking notes that day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

MAKE FLASHCARDS. This course is very study intensive. However, if you are responsible and study a little bit every night, you will be successful. Also, stay on Coach Holmes' good side because he likes to joke around and mess with people.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it can show alot of students why they world had so many revolutions and major changes. They explain in detail why each war happened. It gives a different perspective on the world.

    Course highlights:

I knew so little about the World Wars. Like how Hitler was part of World War 1 and World War 2. You see familiar faces all throughout history, many times. They may run for be a previous senator and then they run for President. Its nice to see how all the people played major and multiple roles in our world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Especially the night before a test. Your brain will retain the information better. Don't pay attention to the dates but to the people and they did.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because everyone needs a course to learn about the vast cultures and histories of the world. It is so small minded to think that the only world that matters is the immediate vicinity around you, when there is an entire planet that some people will never get to see.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was learning about the Middle East and Asia because those are so different from the culture I live in. It was interesting to see their art, music, religions, and economics, and to learn about everything that happened hundreds of years ago.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The most you need for this class is something to access the internet, a notebook, pencils and access to the textbook. The textbook becomes your best friend because that is the basis for all class discussion, but Mrs. Helfenbein made it easy to understand in class, as long as you did the outside reading and took notes in class and over the reading.
