    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend any course with Dr. Dantzler because she empliments activities that will undoubtly make you a stronger writer, even if writing is not your strong suit.

    Course highlights:

While taking this course with Dr. Dantzler, I learned how to created longer and more detailed paragraphs, which is a requirement for higher learning. I also learned to use very little to-be verbs, which was difficult in the beginning, but as I became a better writer, it got much easier.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

ASK HER ANY AND EVERY QUESTION! Asking for questions and clarification is very important because you will find yourself overthinking which could affect your grades on essays. She gives alot of time for office hours, so take advantage of it. She will allow you to make up essays you may not have done so well one, and choosing to do so will have a positive affect on your overall grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed the class, my favorite part was the class dicussions, but the class was a little bit diffcult to keep up with since the semester was shorter than the regular semester. We had online assignments to complete almost every week including other assigments that he gave us like writing assigments. Our 10 page research paper was the main assigment we worked on most of the semester, which was pretty in depth and took a lot of time to complete, but he took you through the whole process. It is not as bad as it seems because everything is broken down, but you must manage your time with each part making sure you put your best effort into it and also turning in the assignment on time as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the class was honestly some of dicussions we had in the class because everyone had a opportunity to express their opinion about a certain topic we were dicussing and to me that was fun and interesting. I truly enjoyed it. What I learned from the class was that time managment is very important because each assigment that was part of the research paper was due a certain day of each week. And once you finished one assigment you already had another that you had to complete because it all was a process so you can in the end write a research paper, so if you waited till last minute to complete each assigment you will turn in work that isnt your best effort and also you will become very overwhelmed and will get behind.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Dont come into the class thinking that is it just like English 1101, it is simliar in the sense where they dont except perfect work but in this course your professor does have level expectation of you. So I reccomend putting your best effort into every assigment that you complete and using your time very wisely because due dates will definitely sneak up on you, especially if you decide to take it in the summer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very enthusiastic and always willing to help. The theme of the class was interesting. Be ready to read a lot and to take a quiz on each of the readings. She really helped be become a better writer.

    Course highlights:

I finally learned to write in MLA style!!! The formatting and the citations could be confusing, but the professor used a wonderful method to get us to learn and remember how to use MLA style.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read and write a lot.
