    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Berry is very knowledgeable and helpful. The course itself is a lot to take in, so taking in the summer is extra challenging, but honestly, Professor Berry makes it a little bit easier. She will give you as many examples as you need to understand the concepts. She will give you acronyms, and try to incorporate a little humor to keep it interesting. She is a great professor and this is a difficult course, so take it with her!

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the semester project! Not only was it fun, but it was very eye opening. We basically had to create our own business and come up with all the different budgets and forms that an accountant would have to come up with. I realized how expensive an ice cream shop can be, in fact, my business went under! Thankfully, she did not grade for the success of our business, but for the format of the documents.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards! I made flashcards for all of the terms, and that really helped when the cumulative final came around. Also, you HAVE to go to class. This course goes by very quickly, missing one class means missing the one chance you had of clearing up any of the concepts, which trust me, you will have questions about.
