    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a good course to show you what college is about and the work that goes in to getting a good grade. However if you are not going to take the class seriously you will find out quickly it is not the class for you.

    Course highlights:

Even though the assignment was difficult the photo portfolio was interesting cause it made you really look into your surroundings and it is cool now knowing and being able to identify plants and animals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class. You can't skip and take notes. Considering the class is 2 hours and 45 minutes we cover a lot and you would miss a lot.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a common core course and great for biology students to take. It has basic chemistry and little competitive.

    Course highlights:

Stoichiometry is a main topic to concentrate on which includes most of this course. Periodic table, polyatomic Ions, and unit conversions are mostly used during this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn the basics of chemistry and practice stoichiometry at home to be successful in most of the exams. Make sure to do different concepts of each chapter because this course don't provide same concepts on the exams just the different ways to do the problems.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides students with a background on basic biology. It covers genetics, evolution, prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms, statistical analysis of data, and highlights different taxonomic classifications of species.

    Course highlights:

The labs and projects were very hands on and included an organism collection project where students had to collect samples from different kingdoms of Eukarya and identify them, bringing learned material out into everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of upcoming exams. This course goes over a lot of detail in a short period of time. Start studying as soon as you begin new material in class.
