    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are going into nursing it is a required course. It is a very difficult course but Dr. Mehta is an extremely great teacher. She breaks the material down for you to understand and also give you a lot of hands on experience.

    Course highlights:

It was interesting learning all the organic chemicals and looking at different foods and can tell what chemicals its made up of.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Go over the material you learned in class everyday. Do the work that is given to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Forlemu approaches the subject in such a way that if you attend class and do the suggested homework you have already seen all of the test questions.

    Course highlights:

Interesting labs, making aspirin, soap, and slime

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up and do the work even if it's not graded

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because it will educated you on hydrocarbons and how organic compounds are made. Be sure to stay on top of studying because it's a lot of material in one setting!

    Course highlights:

You will learn how to balance organic compounds, make lotions & soaps, and understanding how each element reacts with carbon and one another.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on the carbon backbone and how hydrogen attaches. Prioritize the different bonds that are created. This will play a key role in the course.
