This class was tough.
All pre-health students (should) know how tough organic chemistry is. Taking this course over the summer really lets you focus on orgo and orgo alone. The class is fast-paced, but the professors here are lively, engaged, helpful, and really know what they're doing.
The highlights were the professor and the general course structure. There was so much content to pack in, but we still managed to have a good time and all get through it together. Dr. Paredes is energetic and kind and really makes you want to learn the material. Lecture block was ideal because it was set up to work through issues with the material instead of Dr. Paredes regurgitating her previously uploaded lecture notes. The daily assessments were also very helpful in monitoring progress and understanding.

Advice for students:
The biggest piece of advice I can give is to not fall behind. This course is very fast paced over the summer, so missing a day (or just not studying/completing work) is like missing a week. Don't be afraid to ask questions and definitely try to have a partner or group in class to get through the summer with.
