    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Valazak is a great teacher and makes the course engaging and insightful

    Course highlights:

The course covers over 2000 years of history starting with the four river valley civilizations. The course also talks about the birth of civilizations and empires such as the Greeks, the Romans, the Persians, the Byzantines and much more. The course also talks about the change in economics and technology over centuries. AP World History also talks about how religion was a huge factor that shaped civilizations, politics, wars, and economics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes quickly and talk about the class with other students. Also really take your time reading the textbook and going over your notes because the tests have a lot of random and complex questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think this class is great if you love history. This class is pretty fast paced, as we are assigned outlines followed my quizzes in a relatively short amount of time. It's pretty rigorous and you can easily fall behind if you cannot keep track of what you are supposed to do. Teacher wise, he is great. Very knowledgeable and funny, but difficult!! So be prepared..

    Course highlights:

I think the highlights of this course is learning about the Aztecs and Incas. We learned about the way of life in ancient mesoamerica and how the aztecs and incas were extremely fierce and innovative humans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a good study routine. Learn the basics of the class and pay attention to how the class is ran. My teacher goes by units and chapters while I heard other teachers teach in time eras. Adapt to the teachers method of teaching and learn what is best for you to succeed.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

For one I actually learned a lot in the class, world history is extremely important and very fun learning about the history of humans. What made the class even more enjoyable was how entertaining menchetti made the class, she made hilarious analogies that made us retain information.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything from when humans lived in caves to how we advanced to making new innovative technologies such as guns. I really enjoyed learning about the Islamic empire and how it was more than religion and influenced the world and still does today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to read their books a lot because it is a lot of information to retain in such a short time. Also make flash cards and take practice quizzes.
