Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Come one, come all history lovers! If you are interested in America's complex, terrible, and glorious past, this course is perfect for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about America's history throughout the 1800s and early 1900s. A few significant events I learned about include the Gold Rush, the Civil War, the Dust Bowl, the Great Depression, World War I, World War II, and the Civil Rights Movement.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Flashcards are the best way to learn the prodigious amount of material. Also, do not take notes on every passage in the textbook; only write down the important events and record key historical figures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is 100% in depth with her teaching. She prepares you for rigorous courses that you may take in college. Although she gives a lot of work and notes, it is worth it because she is only preparing you for what's to come in the future. The teacher is also really fun and has a great sense of humor, so she makes the course more enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the units over the Manifest Destiny, the Civil Rights Movement, and learning about the Civil War. I learned about a lot of unknown reasons for these events and my teacher gave more in depth background knowledge about the events that wouldn't be known from reading the textbook.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you definitely need to study. Study all the time. Read the material that she gives you because, it will definitely be tests on it. Make sure you copy the notes correctly and to always jot down key points when she goes over powerpoints.
