    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it definitely prepares students for college. Each assignment is assigned with the thought that each student will complete it independently. There are guidelines given, so each student can be aware of the requirements. It allows for you to add in a unique flare to each assignment that showcases your personal way of writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would definitely be each work of literature that we cover. We've ranged from shakespeare to popular novellas, and the wide range of literature taught me how to read different works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are planning on going into this course make sure that you find a way to NOT procrastinate. Elder is very good at giving exact due dates for things, and guidelines for the essays, so it's best to not get behind.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend college English level 102 because it gives you the experience of a college level class while getting credited for it. Taking the course in high school is more simpler than taking it in college for the first time. If you're not taking it for credit, it still gives you an idea of what to expect.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the experience. It gives you an expectation of what college due dates and homework assignments will look like. I learned how to develop better essays and make critical analysis's. My writing has improved greatly since I joined this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're considering taking college English, I would dedicate, at the minimum, an hour each day, including free time, to develop your essays and complete your homework. Deadlines are much closer than they appear and your teacher is always open to help you develop your essay or with any questions you have.
