Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is wonderful. She teaches the subject in a way that makes you want to learn and actually love it. Her math jokes are very punny, as well as funny and she makes the subject fun and easy. Anyone who takes her class will love it and, if they put in work, will pass the AP Exam at the end of the semester. With Mrs. Henderson Math is FUN!! Like she says, "You have to know what u is." Furthermore, the subject is not extremely hard to understand. If you put work in and genuinely want to learn and improve, the subject will not be as challenging. Even if it was, you can get help from the teacher and students.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights was the study sessions, which were fun and very helpful. Not only was the teacher great but her interaction with the students helped make us more connected to the course. When someone didn't understand something she would stop to help that student as well as the entire class to better understand it, just in case others were too scared to speak out. While in this class I learned about derivatives, logarithms, u du substitution, and many more topics that could also be applied to life such as Related rate problems. Coming into Calculus AB I didn't think it would be as much fun as it has been, but it was a wonderful surprise that I enjoyed experiencing and believe you will too.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up or get discouraged. If you don't understand something just ask the teacher for help and do the best you can. Not everyone will get it at first, but if you work hard and keep positive you will succeed in the course. Don't give up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches students to utilize their problem solving skills in ways that may be out of their comfort zone. Furthermore, it teaches them not only essential calculus skills for furthering their education but also teaches them to push themselves to succeed.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course I learned the basics of calculus as well as the more in depth complicated problems and the relationships between them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to put their best foot forward and to always put in the work in this course. There is a significant difference in understanding when one does the all the work given, even when it seems excessive, to the best of their ability.
