Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn more about English. The Teacher is awesome. She is incredible at teaching literature and showing how to apply this to written word. She knows how to explain the course matter in layman terms

    Course highlights:

Shakespeare and writing. The teacher explains things well and is easy to get along with. She is never condescending when teaching.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading comprehension helps, but a decent understanding in the beginning will give something to build on. It helps to enjoy reading, but the teacher helps keep you engaged in the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very interactive and the teacher was great! Mr Budden truly cares about his students and is a wonderful teacher.

    Course highlights:

I loved doing the essays and learning about rhetorical analysis. Although I hated it at first I eventually fell in love with the world or reading and writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

No matter what you have going on, do the reading. It's a lot but if you don't then you will have no idea what is being discussed or what is going on in the class in general.

The highlights from taking English 101 are the essays. Mrs. Hill makes it so easy to understand what to do to have a excellent well-written essay.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you expound on your writing. State what the essay is really about. Why and how did the author say this, and what does it mean to the audience.
