Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because I found it to be very interesting. It was challenging at times but never close to impossible. Most of the history was not very Euro-centric because there is a class focused on just European history. The major focuses for each unit revolved around culture, politics, religion, and economics. Throughout the course, we prepared for the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were some of the projects. They provided a way to further explore certain topics of interest. I learned a lot about how countries affect each other in many ways. The greatest empires influenced many people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend reading the textbook. Some of the tests I took in class were harder than the AP exam, but I personally liked that. When the exam came, I was prepared. For the class, if you prefer auditory learning, Crash Course videos on Youtube are great; John Green makes them. Rereading notes are also a good way to study. Doing homework is definitely a good idea. Do not let yourself fall behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's challenging and factual. Mr. Trotter teaches you about time management and also how to write solid essays that you can add your style to easily.

    Course highlights:

I gained a ton of things aside from history. I learned about how to write really good essays that can work for anything you are writing. Also I gained experience on how to manage my time for that class along with two other AP classes, and he really gave great advice on that. By far one of the best instructors I have ever had.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for some hard work ahead that will pay off so much for the future. Not only for people wanting to go after history majors, but also for people who want to be challenged by essays and soaking in information.
