Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

she is a great teacher! is willing to put in the time to help you be the best you can be. She is available often. She works with when you are absent.

    Course highlights:

Its a hard course and you need to do your homework. One highlight is that you will feel way more prepared for college level math and you learn so much. You start off with basic algebra skills and equations. Then everything is taken up a notch or two.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework! You will need it so much and you do not want to fall behind. Also get as much help as you need.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a good review of Algebra 2 and a good preparation for Calculus. It is a good challenge for students, but not impossibly difficult. Although it does require a student to actually do their homework to see good results.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to take my own notes. We were not given a "notes packet" of the unit, like I have in other math classes. The teacher would write down the essentials, but I quickly learned that to retain the information I would have to write extra notes that I could understand and refer back to when needed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework!! Don't blow it off, because then you won't retain the information. It's not something you'll understand the first time. Also, ask your teacher questions about homework you aren't getting right. While doing homework, check your answers. If you don't get an answer right, go back and try again, don't just move on.
