    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very time consuming class, however, Mr. Zwolinski prepares you very well for the AP test and for future AP classes. He always does his best to help you in any way possible and is always willing to take time out of his day to make sure that you are caught up and on track

    Course highlights:

You learn so many interesting things about America's History from the founding fathers to the early feminist movements to the counter culture during the Vietnam war!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually do the assignments and don't copy them and actually read the sections assigned to you because they will help you when doing practice tests and essays for the AP test and you will be behind

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you love history, you're already meant to take this class. Even better, Mr. Z is an incredible teacher. He teaches History in the most fun way possible, and you will truly look forward to his class everyday. To top that, he does a great job in preparing you for the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned America's entire history of course! But the way I learned was the great part. Mr. Z often dressed up as important historical leaders during the era we were being taught, followed by games and videos to help remember the importance of them in America.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE WORK. Everything Z gives you will be on that AP exam. He will spend hours before or after school helping any of his students. He is very understanding and helpful. If you don't understand something, SPEAK UP.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because it is the first AP course that students are able to take in our school. And it is without a doubt one of the most difficult ones. Most would question me about why I would recommend such a course, but a challenge is necessary in life. It builds your stamina, your mental strength, and is an excellent introduction to college.

    Course highlights:

Timed writing and test taking were an essential component to this class, and I really developed that. This aided me when it came time to take ACT and SAT. Also, thanks to the wonderful teacher, my love for history was ignited even more! We learned from pre-colonization to Obama's presidency, it was all covered!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

MAKE FLASHCARDS. USE THE PROVIDED MATERIALS.WATCH VIDEOS.GO TO A MUSEUM. ASK YOUR ELDERS. Do whatever it takes to spark passion within you about the history of our country. Do not take it merely for the college credit, have some excitement for learning! If you have that, the learning process will automatically become easier!
