    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend it. It helped me build very valuable writing skills. These skills I will definitely use later on in life.

    Course highlights:

The highlights where the book studies. It gave me good analysis skills. I also learned a lot of essay writing skills. This will help as I'm applying to colleges and once I'm in college. Although writing the essays weren't that much fun, when I look back I am glad I did it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study the literary terms they will help you a lot on tests. You will also need to try your best on the essays. Don't slack off on them cause you are sick of writing them. Be prepared for up to 5-6 in class essays a week.

    Course highlights:

Highlights from the course included freedom within reason for different assignments. For example, students were able to choose their own topics for a persuasive essay. I learned to prepare ahead of time and stay up to date with my assignments and studying.
