    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I personally wouldn't recommend it for students who are unsure of the class. If you are not willing to give 110% into this class, it won't get easier as the year goes on. Its your basic chemistry class of four chapters wrapped into 1 chapter for ap.

    Course highlights:

If you have a good teacher, it helps you admire the work that is put in by all teacher every day. It is a major wake up call for college and what it will be like. My teacher runs a lot of it off of college boards website, which shows what college is expecting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Discipline yourself in studying, reading chapters, paying attention. Its not like any other normal class when the teacher expects minimum from you, they expect the most you can give as a student.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class, although challenging, teaches valuable lab skills, test skills, and study habits. It instills an in depth knowledge of chemistry to begin any career with.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned how to do proper lab technique which I feel is most valuable. The age old question "when will we ever use this is asked" as labs will be done forever and applied to the real world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this class know the work going into it. It may be frustrating but it was so worth it. It was one of my favorite classes ever. Listen to lectures, study your notes and the book, watch videos, get a review book, and be persistent in asking questions and be curious!! As much as it might suck sometimes chemistry is so fun and it will help so much later in life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would without a doubt recommend this course. The material you learn doesn't only help you in certain job fields, but it allows you to participate in intellectual conversations with citizens as well. This course is also very interesting. Between the formulas you learn, labs, and the vocab from the chapters, you never get bored.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned how to name and distinguish between acids and bases, I learned Stoichiometry, electron configuration and coulombic attraction, and many more lessons. Now that may seem like a lot, but I assure you, once you start this course everything will fall into place.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Before taking this course, I would memorize the periodic table. You spend a lot of time with all of the elements and their properties and knowing the periodic table will make things a lot easier. Throughout this course, always stay ahead of the game. Always review and refresh your mind with the material. This will prevent you from cramming all the material in right before test time!
