Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For anyone even remotely interested in studying Psychology, this course is perfect. In 10 years I hope to be a licensed professional counselor, and taking this class is perfect for setting me up for success.

    Course highlights:

The teacher of this course is passionate about teaching differently than the common educator. Everyday he shows us a silly video, demonstration, or game, that helps a specific word or concept stay in our head. I've learned so much more about this topic than any other because of his teaching style. The course teaches many different units on human behavior and the brain. Everything we learn is applicable to real life situations and describes why our memory, thoughts, and actions work the way they do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Because this is an AP class, there is quite a lot of homework outside of class. This homework is always reading from the textbook and while sometimes it can take a while, it is so worth it to read. Psychology is so complex and big that not everything can be addressed in class, so the reading is very important to be successful not just in the class but on the AP exam.
