    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Anatomy and Physiology is a great class! Whether you're going into the medical field or not you can learn so much about how your own body works, what your muscles actually do for you and how human cells work in tandem together. You can learn how exactly your heart, brain, lungs and every organ in your body works.

    Course highlights:

I absolutely loved learning about the heart and brain. It's so amazing that your heart can pump blood , oxidize it and reintroduce the oxidized blood out to the rest of your organs. Your brain is responsible for communicating anything and everything to your other organs. Your brain helps regulate your heart beat, your body's temperature as well as processing signals from the nerves, flipping your vision so you can see and it lets you think, make decisions and feel emotion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in Anatomy and Physiology I would say that you need flash cards, or a flash card app like Quizlet and use them. There is quite a bit of homework and memorization of bones, organs and muscles. So study, study, study; and draw things out. Draw every organ and muscle at least once with striations so you can remember exactly how they look and what function they serve.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Understanding how the human body works is fascinating, and is great for anyone who likes to study the human body in more detail.

    Course highlights:

I learned a bunch of information about the human body. Every new thing I learned was a fascinating detail about the human body that I never knew before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. Every break you have should be dedicated to memorizing as much as you can.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

interesting! loved being able to learn more about scientific drawings and proper anatomical proportions.

    Course highlights:

again, learning about diagram drawing and proportions was lovely and actually really improved my art as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

brush up on spatial relations before taking a+p
