    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It helps teach students what English classes at a college will be like and will also help expand knowledge on lessons such as grammar. I also enjoyed all the writing we had to do because it allowed me to explore new techniques and learn what makes a paper great.

    Course highlights:

Mainly how to identify good and bad writing techniques as well as how to write a solid paper. I also enjoyed the group discussions because it was nice to hear multiple opinions and observations over the topics we were discussing.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, no matter how tedious it is. It will help you see good and bad examples of writing and you can pull observations from it for class discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class has given me more insight on different writing pieces and techniques and I enjoy that. I am not a huge English person, and it has tended to not be my favorite class, however this class I enjoy very much.

    Course highlights:

How to really write honestly and fully.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write your heart out. It is fun, yet challenging.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this not just because you love writing or your friends may be in it, but is free a college credit that's free?! Say what. Exactly. You can be learning something others pay 600 dollars for a semester!

    Course highlights:

What I've gained from taking this course was not only a free college credit, but a way with words and with writing. Different styles and technies to many things other than just a narrative we've all known. There's more outside vocab text and writing a book report there's real writing out there and someday if you allow it yours could be too.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

What you need to achieve in this course is to just stay on ask and pay attention, any class is like that, but to stay with the big dogs you have to keep up with them. It's not all fun and games when if comes down to you not passing that class and having to pay 500 dollars back over silly mistakes.
