    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great class because it enforces a higher level of thinking upon the student and requires them to advance their level of understanding of how the universe works.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights from the course was working with sound waves and understanding a very fundamental piece of our world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best way to succeed in the course is to continue practicing the content outside of class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course provides numerous extra credit opportunities to ensure that students can maintain their grades if they are willing to put in the effort. This reduces the amount of pressure on the students that comes with every graded assignment, allowing them to focus on learning the course material. Ms. Eggers is very lenient with deadlines - so if you are busy, you can turn in work late. She cares more about the students learning, then meeting a deadline. Overall, the course covers the AP material very well and I am very prepared for the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me were the first 6 units, which focused on cells, molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics...all topics that interest me and relate to what I want to do with my career.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the extra credit opportunities and study hard for each test. Ms. Eggers is very willing to help students who reach out to her.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course, as far as I am aware, is required, so there is not much in the way of avoiding it. But I do want to say that when you take this course you need to be patient with both yourself and the teacher. I had a rough time with this, as I really hoped for a more positive experience with the class. The workload can be overwhelming and the teacher can be easily distracted. If you can get past that and advocate for yourself when you need help, then you'll be good to go.

    Course highlights:

The information that is taught within this class is immense. Although I may not use it for my personal future, if you have a mind for chemistry and an interest in that career field you will love this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be patient. This course can be quite the brain teaser. Just take your time and, if you need help, do not hesitate for a second to ask the teacher. They'll be happy to assist.
