Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a fun class! As a writer for the Lancer Link (the school's online newspaper), you are expected to complete two long articles (350+ words), a brief (less than 300 words), and two other interactive assignments. Writers also get to choose what section of the newspaper they would prefer to write for whether it's features, opinion, news, arts and entertainment, or sports. As a photographer, you are expected to go to many of the events to take photos, so don't sign up to be a photographer if you have a busy schedule.

    Course highlights:

This class gets you more involved with the school and the events happening. You learn a lot about the students and faculty through interviews and by going to multiple events in the community.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait until the last minute to get your assignments done because they will pile up! Sometimes it can be difficult to schedule interviews because people don't show up or are not willing to be interviewed, or it's difficult to go to events to take photos, so you have to be flexible and willing to adapt.
