    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone with a strong experience in English. His class can be challenging but its worth your time

    Course highlights:

This course was extremely informative . I've learned about the classics including Beowulf and hamlet and plenty other old literature. We used context clues to answer questions prior to reading and learned a lot about comprehension

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes. Be persistent with his work since it requires time. Do not be discouraged by all the assignments given either. It helps if you know someone in the class , that way the group projects wont require an ice breaker.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well rounded, very interesting and informational

    Course highlights:

I gained necessary knowledge to college. Mr Depew made us challenge ourselves and practices college level thinking and writing. We entered the world or classic literature and became masters of its prose.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the work! He gives more than enough and doesn't take excuses about why it's not finished! As much as you dread homework or assignments, he's hand picked them to challenge and improve your work habits and skills

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. DePew is an amazing teacher who really has a passion to teach English. He makes the subject fun, and extremely easy to understand, no matter how hard the unit is. He is so creative and intuitive and the students learn so much that they could carry onto in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much from taking this class. Not only did I learn how to properly cite in text citations but I learned how to be a good person and have confidence in public speaking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate in finishing homework or classwork. Mr. DePew is very nice, but he can become very irritated with students that don't do their work, and do bad on unit tests.
