Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in traveling, tourism economics, food services, and many more then Hospitality & Tourism is the program for you. In H&T you learn the what Hospitality is all about, customer service, the financial side of H&T, and Geography of Tourism.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was being able to learn about H&T through hands on experience. I've gone to field trips to casinos like Circus Circus and found out how the company, being as old as it is, is still able to compete with all the new and big casinos in Las Vegas. Projects were always a challenge because when it came to any topic that we were on, we had to present it and make sure we sell it to our classmates/customers. Thanks to H&T learning these skills have given me a grasp on how to treat customers, event plan, and many more skills that could get me far in this business.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on looking into this program, make sure that it is for you. You have to want to be there and you have to interact with others to get through the course with the best experience possible. If you are there just for the grade and to graduate with a cord, then you will leave this program with very little knowledge.
