Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class due to the fact that it's one of the most manageable AP classes on campus. At times, it's not the most interesting class because some sections are far less interesting than others. But, I was sold on the sections I did find entertainment with and was able to easily stay involved in class discussions. The class sheds light on concepts you wouldn't normally ponder.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course would have to be the fact that I passed with a four and earned college credit. This class taught me about the human mind and led me into the thought-process of our brains and I thought that was rather interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're looking for an AP class that won't overwork you and cause mental breakdowns this is the course for you. There is minimal homework and as long as you listen to Mr. Howerton when he lectures you'll be good to go.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I liked this class because I am considering psychology as a major.

    Course highlights:

I learned about human behavior, what people think and why they do what they do. This class gave me insight into what college might be like if I decided to major in psychology.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise the students to pay attention during lectures and read the material in order to absorb all of the information for the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because you learn so much about behaviors and about how the brain works. The teacher gives out note packets which are extremely helpful to study from and the course material itself is not at all overly difficult. Anyone who is looking for an interesting class should definitely consider this class.

    Course highlights:

The teacher keeps the class very entertaining and breaks up note taking to show us videos, which I find to be helpful, because I can visualize the concepts that we are studying. The highlight of this course is definitely Mr. Howerton, because he is adamant on helping his students further understand psychology. In the class I learned the different functions of the brain and different experiments done to benefit psychology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest studying the note packets, looking over the book, and making flash cards or going to quizlet to familiarize yourself with the vocabulary definitions.
