    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Take the class if you want to improve your problem-solving skills and ability to solve problems.

    Course highlights:

I learned to think outside the box because very few problems were straightforward.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot because understanding the concepts is key.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class wasn't made for me; I thought I would have enjoyed it more than any other science class, but it requires a great deal of intelligence and critical thinking which I do not acquire. Unless you are someone who is very apt in these attributes, and you very much enjoy Math, Engineering, or the STEM program, then this class is for you.

    Course highlights:

Although this class was a great failure for me, I did enjoy learning about forces and kinematics. These two lessons are very important to review through this course, as it is basically the center point of all Physics. Simply understanding the concepts of how fast one runs or a person's ability to lift a certain object will aid your understanding throughout the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to not only do a certain problem on kinematics or energy or any other lesson in AP Physics 1. Solving problems are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this class because it is a class full of critical thinking and conceptual understanding of how a particular lesson can be used in the real world; correlating different ideas will also be a major help on the AP test.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in the way physical objects move throughout our world like I am, you will love this class because it goes into deep explaination about the science behind movement, using real life examples with labs and also class discussion.

    Course highlights:

One very amazing highlight of this class was the boat race. In the upcoming days of the boat race we were able to build a bouyant boat using a set number of wood provided by the teacher. On the day of the race, the school would come and watch the classes races.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Fix your work ethic before joining the class. If you are coming into this classs with initially bad work ethic then you will not do well in this class.
